ETISALAT EASYLIFE 4.0 LIMITED EDITION REVIEW 2016

Hello everybody, today's review will be on a service plan from Etisalat Nigeria called Easylife 4.0 limited edition. In this review, we will show you how to migrate to Easylife 4.0 limited edition, its benefits, its similarities and differences with other tariff plans, and lots more.

SERVICE REVIEW

Nigerian network providers have been competing with each other to provide its subscribers with the lowest call rates to call national and international numbers, the Etisalat Easylife 4.0 limited edition is one of those tariff plans and it has really low rates. I previously reviewed a very similar plan called the new MTN pulse tariff plan and I would be comparing it with the Easylife 4.0 limited edition so I'll advise you to read it here  incase you missed it.

The Etisalat Easylife 4.0 limited edition is a voice prepaid plan that gives its subscribers very low call rates to call both international and local numbers. With the Easylife 4.0 limited edition you can call all national numbers ( Airtel, MTN, Glo, Etisalat etc) for just 11 kobo per second, but you will have to pay a daily access fee of N5. This daily access fee expires everyday at exactly 11:59PM and will be renewed each day. For international destinations like UK (landlines), USA, China and India, your call rates will be at 20 kobo per second after you have paid the daily fee of N5. Like I said earlier, it is similar to the new MTN pulse because you are charged at rates as low as 11 kobo per second. The only difference is that for the new MTN pulse, you will have to spend up to N10 first before you can start enjoying call rates of 11 kobo per second to call both local and international numbers, while with the Easylife 4.0 limited edition, you only pay a daily fee of N5 but the rates are different (11 kobo per second for local calls, 20 kobo per second for international calls).

To migrate to the Easylife 4.0 limited edition, simply dial *420*1#. Migration is completely free and is only available to customers on easy starter, easy cliq, easyflex, talkzone, blackberry voice plan / smartphone voice plan, Easylife 3.0 bundles, Easylife flat tariff and easy Sim. To check your balance on Easylife 4.0 limited edition, simply dial *232#. If you wish to migrate out to another tariff plan, you will be charged a fee of N100.

Another benefit of using the Easylife 4.0 limited edition is that you get to enjoy free incoming calls while roaming on selected networks in 6 countries. SMS rates on Easylife 4.0 limited edition is N4 for national numbers and N15 for international numbers. Browsing the internet using Pay As You Go (PAYG) on Easylife 4.0 limited edition is 5 kobo per kilobyte while MMS costs N100.
When you are on Easylife 4.0 limited edition, you cannot enjoy promotional offers such as weekend offer, double your recharge, 9ja free credit promo, free night calls and unlimited SMS.

CLOSE SUBSTITUTES

Some of the closest alternatives to the Etisalat Easylife 4.0 limited edition includes the new MTN pulse tariff plan.

DOWNSIDES

One of the downsides of the Easylife 4.0 is that you get charged differently for local and international calls unlike other tariff plans where you are charged a flat rate to both local and international destinations. Another pitfall is that you don't get to enjoy promotional offers that are available to other tariff plans such as double your recharge and free night calls.

RATINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Like I earlier mentioned in this post, the Easylife 4.0 limited edition is very similar to the new MTN pulse tariff plan because they both offer very low call rates to their subscribers. While MTN pulse tariff plan call rates are pegged at a flat rate of 11 kobo per second to both local and international destinations, the Easylife 4.0 limited edition call rates are 11 kobo per second for national numbers and 20 kobo per second for international calls. This means that the new MTN pulse tariff plan call rates are more affordable than the Easylife 4.0 limited edition tariff plan, although the daily access fee/benchmark for the new MTN pulse is higher than that of the Easylife 4.0. limited edition (which is just N5).

An advantage that Easylife 4.0 limited edition subscribers have over the new MTN pulse subscribers is that they enjoy free incoming calls for selected networks in 6 countries. Also there is no migration fee whatsoever for the Easylife 4.0 limited edition. I would recommend the Easylife 4.0 limited edition to Etisalat subscribers that want to enjoy amazingly low call rates to both local and international destinations. The Easylife 4.0 limited edition has a rating of 6/10 from us on our rate scale.

Have a lovely day!
